Test Duration & Structure Overview
The complete test takes 2 hours and 30 minutes, plus the Speaking Test (11–14 minutes), which may be taken on a different day.

| Speaking | 11–14 minutes | A face-to-face interview covering personal questions, a topic discussion (cue card), and a short conversation. |
Scoring System: Band Scale 1-9
- Each section is scored on a band scale from 1 (Non-User) to 9 (Expert User).
- An Overall Average Score is provided.
- Institutions set their own minimum score requirements.
- There is no limit on how many times you can take the test.
